Graduate Opportunity – HR

Looking for a Graduate who wants to step into HR and build a long-term career in Employee Relations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate who is ready to develop hands-on HR experience within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. You will gain exposure to operational HR, employee relations casework and business partnering, while working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of an operational HR service, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees.

  • Assisting with employee relations cases including grievance, disciplinary, absence and capability processes.

  • Working closely with the HR team to support delivery of the HR plan in line with business objectives.

  • Partnering with managers to help resolve people-related challenges in a fair, compliant and commercially balanced way.

  • Ensuring HR matters are handled promptly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policies.

  • Supporting investigations and formal hearings while developing your own ER knowledge and confidence.

  • Helping identify people-related risks and contributing to practical, compliant solutions.

  • Assisting in developing efficient HR service desk processes to ensure timely responses to queries.

  • Producing accurate HR reports and management information.

  • Supporting HR projects and wider business initiatives.

  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.

  • Assisting in keeping HR policies and procedures up to date and aligned with current legislation.

  • Data Protection Officer

  • Directors and Senior Leadership Team


What We’re Looking For

This role would suit a recent graduate or early-career HR professional who is serious about developing in Employee Relations.

Knowledge & Experience

  • HR or ER experience (placement year, internship or up to 1–2 years’ experience welcomed).

  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) desirable.

  • Relevant degree in HR, Business, Psychology or similar advantageous.

  • Exposure to consultations or TUPE processes would be beneficial but not essential.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment.

  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and HR systems.

  • Discreet and professional, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
